The Matrix: Revolutions
Rating: ( B )

Finally saw The Matrix: Revolutions. I am not sorry about seeing it and after reading some of the favorable reviews on the Net, I wish I could sit down and see the three movies in a one day marathon.

It could have been better, of course. But the movie's problem began with Reloaded. Too unbalanced. Reloaded got the philosophical, programming analogy baggage in huge heaps and left the little sister movie with little to play with. This is a resolution, an ending to the story of The Matrix and too many questions were raised in the second movie to be solved in a two hour movie fest that also needed big fights, explosions, mechas, love story, cool eyewear and wardrobe. So everything suffered in comparison to the first ones that had all the time in the world. The good thing is (and it is a huge good thing) that it ended as it had to. It even turned the previous corny moments (the resurrection scenes if you must know) and gave a twist to them that is worth the price of admission.

Go see it. Especially if you saw ELF on the big screen.
