Last night I went to the circus. Cirque du Cirque, a cheap imitation of Cirque du Soleil. It was good, though not in an ecstatic absolutely unique way. I can take so many dangling from ropes acts and the bubble guy just stood there for fifteen minutes, blowing away little bubbles before getting to the finale. At least, I got out of the house.

Saw The Transporter. An action movie in the silly tradition of John Woo. Checked out the Making of Special Feature and was delighted to find out that the oil scene was really the pancake syrup scene. Jason Statham must have tasted GREAT, in an ecstatic absolutely unique way...
