I am so hooked on Farscape. The Chrichton character is soooooo handsome and funny. It is like a witty, intelligent Star Trek, instead of Patrick Stewart it is a young BRAD PITT. Hmmm, indeed. Sexy geekiness for a brave new milennia. It is another example of my favorite kind of story: loner person in wonderland. Something like Alice, Dorothy in Wizard of Oz, the girl in Labyrinth, the boy in Never Ending Story, Neverwhere, The Sixth Sense, etc. all share a variation of this theme. The truth is weirder than they tell you. Deal with it.

Whoo-hoo! Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights will come out in February 2004. This is a trailer for the truly patient ones. I liked it, doesn't make you expect too much from the movie, and Puerto Rico looks beautiful, if I may say so myself. The timing is great, what with Celia Cruz dying and the salsa music boom this will most probably generate. Also it will be realeased by Valentine's Day, smoochy chick flick in cold weather. I hope it does better than Maid in Manhattan. I don't care if I don't appear in one shot. They already paid me the $150. Jesus, there is a 75% that he will appear, he is one of the dance contest judges. He got paid $800 for sitting around looking judgemental during 2 weeks.

No news is bad news. Complete and utter silence again. Oh, well, guess I will have to deal with it.
