The past few days have been a little too exciting.

Was involved in a fender bender. Really screwed my agenda having to sit around insurance company offices while restraining the urge to choke the 75 year old lady who rear ended my car. Since the accident happened at a mall parking lot, it is automatically deemed 50-50 negligence. It sucks.

On the bright side, a respected journalist talked to Dai and I about helping us become the new leaders of the local journalism association chapter. He has been president for the last 25 years and wants to step down, so he has almost hand picked Dai for the presidency. I was floored and speechless because not only is he a widely respected journalist, but our respective bosses are competitors and adversaries. So, it is amazing that he trusts me to be Dai's right hand in all this. I suspect that what he knows about me is because Dai has put in a good word for me. Which means: I CANNOT fail them in this.

So funny that this development comes about now. I still want to do the whole doctor's degree thing, but journalism is a very nice distraction in the meantime. I shall continue being the juggler.
