Shadow Gods

So Neil Gaiman found the dopplerganger of my cat, too. Rear right paw damaged and all. Very feisty. Mine is a girl-kitty in love with my cat Banshee, who wants nothing to do with her.

Birthdays are a time to meditate. I will just say that 32 years is too long a time to be here and this, now.

I am not going to the Anthrax concert. I have been stood up. Shit... I was too depressed and busy to go to Enanitos Verdes. All the energy I seem to muster goes into slipping a DVD (from Netflix, no less) into the player. Not good. It is too early for Christmas blues...

Happy Halloween:

I still haven't found Goblin. That means that someone took her. I checked for her body in the neighborhood and no one has seen her. Yesterday, I found a black kitty behind the store in the Mall. She seems to be 3 months old, apparently had a horrible accident and lost the fingers in a rear paw. She is too tame to be a feral, so I believe she was dumped. Her name is Maxima, Max for short (OfficeMax- Max means more) Don't ask for more...

I have been working on the same old newsletter for the Evangelical church. So that means my entertainment time is being curtailed for the time being. In fact, I am writing here because of procrastination. I shouldn't be doing anything but working. I shouldn't have enjoyed myself silly last Thursday when I went to see "Sesame Street Live" (the perks of working for a newspaper, free tickets!) That was a mean kiddie mosh pit, children banging each other over the head with Elmo flashlights. My coworker's D nephews and nieces adopted me and pulled me by the hand to join them. It is great to go to shows with 3 and 4 year old people who are so obviously into the fun.

I have the Enanitos Verdes concert in schedule. I still don't know who I am going with for the Anthrax concert. Well, back to work...

I am in mourning, somewhat. I have misplaced Goblin, one of my cats, a cute gray cat that was born in the house, not picked from the street. I love all of them, but she was one of my favorites. Her sister Gremlin misses her terribly. I pray she is fine.

A Part of the trio of Lock, Shock, and Barrel. You
are pretty much a mischevious troublemaker,
loving to get away with sneaky things that may
cause chaos around you. Although you lean
towards the bad side, you still have some good
in you and aren't truly evil. You kind of have
a penchant for getting things your way.

I don't need a Quizilla quiz to tell me this: Of all the series going on TV right now, the single character I most resemble is Tony Soprano.

tony
You are Tony Soprano. You're the boss and nobody
wants to mess with you. You cheat on your wife
although you say you love her and you killed a
guy while taking your daughter to look at
colleges.
