Again, no Internet for the last week. This time it wasn't Monty's fault. (I am sure it has never been his fault, he didn't pull that cable last time, if he had, he would have bitten through, but there was no convincing Mom or the telephone company that it was vandalism, when there is an overactive terrier-mutt who can take the blame). His fixing appointment is next Thursday, no matter what. He loses the family jewels after 7 years. Poor guy.

Hit a Rav4, and bent the hood again. Sigh. And now that I thought I had finally learned to drive.

Ash and Ghost died. Their sister, Populina, is very agile and smart and bitchy. She has stopped looking like a lab rat and now is a young white femcat. Gonna take pics one of these days. Very independent and moody, she is all cat and nothing like her sweet one eyed mom.

Classes have been good, the newspaper hard work and Copymax odious. The Borders thing has not materialized, or I would have skipped the boat at OMAX. One of the bosses who made my life hell left for Kmart, and whenever I go there she greets me all peaches and cream. Bah.

Right now, lots of friends are kicking back at Horrorfind, I envy all of you. Funny how sometimes you measure important stages in your life by cons, "oh, that was two Horrorfind cons ago,christ! how time flies...etc." Looking back and seeing how much one has changed, and how many things have been left to die, and other friendships that one hopes not much time has passed for them to become "unsalvageable". (Whatchamacallit when you hesitate to call/write/chat with someone but you don't want the person to become a stranger, well that's more or less what I mean.) It is not shaping to be a good week, seems that the kitties are at that stage where inherited defense fails and their own is not good enough. Ash died on Saturday, Ghost is very sick. Populina is the only one with some spunk left yet. It sucks but the vet told me there was not much we could do, just hope they come out of it somehow. Of all the kitties I have reared, these have been the most difficult and fragile of all.

Start of month means bills come pouring in, plus that big cash plunk down of tuition. I start classes next week, so that means I will have even less time. Yee-ha.
